Animex Foods, together with its partners, took part in a tree-planting initiative in the Przekopka Forest District near Ełk. The event brought together company employees, students from the Vocational Training Center, and representatives of partner companies.
This is another installment of joint activities carried out with partners, including Gazeta Olsztyńska, and part of Animex Foods’ broader commitment to forest conservation efforts across various regions of Poland. For years, the company has actively supported initiatives that make a tangible contribution to environmental protection and engage local communities. As part of this year’s campaign near Ełk, 960 tree seedlings were planted.
The initiative began with a short training session conducted by a forester, who introduced participants to proper tree-planting techniques and explained the importance of afforestation for the environment. Afterwards, all participants took part in the fieldwork.
“Such initiatives show that responsibility for the environment begins with concrete actions and cooperation at the local level. We are pleased that, together with our partners and young people, we can make a real impact on the environment in which we operate,” emphasized Łukasz Dominiak, Director of Public and Government Relations at Animex Foods.
Pro-environmental activities are an important element of Animex Foods’ responsible business strategy and reflect the company’s long-term commitment to environmental protection and the development of local communities.
